Dear Friends
of ACSS;
It is
with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the closing
of the Autism Center of
the South Shore. In these tough economic times it has become
impossible to keep the doors open and provide the quality
programs that we have provided
to many who we
have come to love.
Donations are scarce; what
began as an idea for
parents and caregivers of children and adults with autism to
have a resource here on the South Shore, blossomed
into so much more than was originally envisioned.
Many good people contributed to
its growth through volunteerism and funding and we sincerely
thank them all. Many families have been helped over the years
by ACSS and we hope that those who have been helped will
continue the spirit of ACSS with each other and their
communities. Our hopes are to
rise above this and someday re-open another Autism Center in the
South Shore area again.
